PALACE+

YOUR DATA, YOUR THRONE

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Palace+ collects, why it is used, and the choices available when you play locally or use online social features.

Effective July 16, 2026Last updated July 16, 2026

Privacy is part of the rules.

Local play stays local

You can play on one device without creating a Palace+ account.

No data sales or ads

We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising trackers.

You can delete your account

Permanent account deletion is available from the Palace+ account screen.

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Palace+ iPhone and iPad app, its Messages extension, online services, and this privacy page. Palace+ is operated by the developer identified on the Palace+ App Store product page.

Apple services, including Sign in with Apple, Game Center, Messages, and Apple Push Notification service, are also governed by Apple's own privacy terms.

Information we handle

Account information

If you create or sign in to an online account, we may process your account ID, email address, display name, username, authentication provider, and account dates. When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private relay email instead of your personal email address. Palace+ never receives your Apple password.

Social and safety information

Online social features may store friend requests, friendships, game invitations, presence status, blocks, reports, moderation records, and messages sent in Palace+ chats. Other players can see your chosen username, display name, relevant presence, and interactions you direct to them.

Gameplay and Game Center information

Online games may process match IDs, player seats, game rules, deck selection, turn state, move history needed to continue a match, and game outcomes. When Game Center is used, Palace+ receives a scoped Game Center player identifier, display name, match participants, and turn-based match data from Apple.

Device and notification information

If you enable notifications, we store an installation identifier, Apple Push Notification service device token, push environment, delivery status, and related timestamps. Device tokens are used only to deliver Palace+ alerts and may change when you reinstall the app or restore a device.

Diagnostics and service records

Our service providers may create limited security, request, error, and delivery logs needed to protect accounts, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and operate the service. Palace+ does not request your precise location, address book, photos, health data, or payment-card details for its current features.

How we use information

  • Create and secure accounts and keep you signed in.
  • Provide usernames, player search, friendships, chat, invitations, and matchmaking.
  • Save and synchronize turn-based games across participating devices.
  • Deliver alerts for new messages, friend requests, game invitations, and turns.
  • Enforce blocks, review reports, prevent abuse, and keep the community safe.
  • Maintain reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect Palace+ from fraud or attacks.
  • Meet legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

Where applicable, we rely on your request to provide the service, consent for optional notifications, legitimate interests in service security and improvement, and legal obligations. You can withdraw notification permission in iOS Settings at any time.

What appears in push alerts

Palace+ may tell you that a player sent a message, invited you to a game, or requested to be your friend. Chat message text is not copied into the push payload or lock-screen preview. After you open Palace+, authorized content is fetched through the app.

Push permission is optional. You can turn it off in iOS Settings, and signing out removes the current installation from Palace+ notification delivery when the service is reachable.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only as needed to operate Palace+:

  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, Game Center, Messages, device distribution, and push delivery.
  • Supabase: authentication, database, real-time social features, server functions, and service logs.
  • Other players: profile and interaction information needed for games, friendships, invitations, and chat.
  • Safety or legal recipients: when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people or the service, or comply with law.

We do not sell personal information, rent user lists, or share data for third-party behavioral advertising. Providers process information under their own security and privacy commitments and may process data in countries other than yours.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and social information while your account is active and as needed to provide ongoing games. Pending invitations and notification delivery records expire or are removed when no longer operationally necessary. Security, moderation, and backup records may be retained for a limited additional period when needed to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, maintain system integrity, or satisfy legal obligations.

To delete your Palace+ account, open Account & Notifications, choose Delete Palace+ Account, and confirm. Deletion removes the Palace+ account and associated social data from the active service. Local games stored only on your device are not affected; removing the app removes its local data. Apple-managed Game Center and Apple Account records remain subject to Apple's controls.

Your choices and rights

  • Play locally without creating an online Palace+ account.
  • Choose and update your public Palace+ username.
  • Accept, decline, block, or report other players.
  • Turn notifications on or off in iOS Settings.
  • Sign out or permanently delete your account in the app.
  • Use applicable privacy rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection.

We may need to verify that a request belongs to you before acting on it. Some records may be retained where required by law or necessary for security and abuse prevention.

How information is protected

Palace+ uses platform authentication, encrypted network connections, access controls, row-level database protections, restricted server credentials, and moderation tools. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your device and Apple Account secure and report suspicious behavior promptly.

Children's privacy

Palace+ online accounts and social features are not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it, without authorization from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to this policy, contact us so the account can be reviewed and deleted. Local play does not require an account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Palace+ features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and material changes may also be announced in the app or App Store release notes.

Questions or privacy requests

Use the account controls inside Palace+ for username changes, notification settings, blocking, reporting, and account deletion. If you cannot access the app, contact the developer through the support contact on the Palace+ App Store product page.
